Hello and welcome :)

 

I'm Matias and I'm an animator.

For the last 18 years I've been animating stop-motion projects, mostly feature films. I also direct, character design and produce, on commercials, TV-Series and different formats.

 

Projects include Henry Selick's and Jordan Peel's latest productions Wendell and Wild (in post-production),

Wes Anderson's  Isle of Dogs;  Tim Burton's Frankenweenie; The Boxtrolls and Kubo and the two Strings (both produced by studio Laika).

Currently I'm animating on Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio, to be released end of 2022.

Some other projects include co-creating the visual identity for PIXEL SHOW 2018 creativity fair in São Paulo, producing content for SP-ARTE 2018 art fair at BIENAL SP, tutoring students in animation projects

​

Currently I'm based in São Paulo, Brazil, as well as in Portland, OR, USA.
